/ Who for LSL Mayor? |

I'm leaning towards Pellerito for mayor.
Though, Ralph Sidebottom has been very nice to me every single time I've spoken with him.
Who does everyone else favor for mayor?

I don't know what is was, but I smelled it over by Boulevard Park. It smelled like raw sewage to me.
Isn't there sewer lines that run under the lake? Maybe one of those broke or something.

Driving across the bridge in LSL last Thursday (3/19) there was a horrible smell..like raw sewage.
Did anyone else notice it? I'm sure the businesses did. It was almost unbearable.
I called the city, who told me to call the CA. The CA said they had no complaints and didn't know what I was talking about.
What's going on?

If you are sick of that "other" LSL forums site that careens to obscenity within one or two posts, use this site to vent your opinions and frustrations (in a civil manner).

/ Looking for gardeners... |
on: Mar 5th, 2009, 11:52am |

Is there anyone in the St. Peters/St. Charles/O'Fallon/Cottleville area who would be interested in getting together on a garden for vegetables?
I don't have space for a garden at all and my experience with container gardens has been less than favorable. I would love to find a group of people to share a garden. Maybe one person has the ground space, maybe another has a tiller, and those of us who, like myself, have neither could pitch in on the labor involved and buying starter plants and seeds. Several people could benefit from the produce of a garden without having to do all the work alone.
My experience with gardening in the past has always been that there is usually too much produced for just one family anyway. So why not pool resources and share a garden with others.
I'd really like to be able to do this! I'm posting this to a few of the local web groups I visit and hoping for the best outcome. I have other gardeners interested in joining me in this project, but none of us has the land!
If anyone reading this has undeveloped property you would allow to be turned into a beautiful vegetable garden, please let me know. Or maybe you just know of a vacant lot near you? Maybe you know someone who owns a property they are always complaining about mowing and upkeep?

One of my favorite movies is an old movie done by HBO back in the 80's. Ed Harris was in it, The Last Innocent Man.

Apple is great if you want the newest trendy item. A PC with Microsoft OS may have some bugs, but so does Apple OS. For most, something like 92% of the market, feel that the cost and features, along with the versatility, of a Microsoft based system is the answer.

OK...I'm no expert. I have just always used IBM-based everything and don't have trouble.
Apple seems to always be trying to be cutting edge, and then big problems crop up for their users.
I don't want to make a statement, align myself with a group of Apple-ites or stand in line for hours to purchase a status symbol.
I just want a computer to work. And mine does. That's good enough for me.
What about you? Apple or MicroSoft?

OK...let's get some activity going on this board!
What movies are your favorites? Has anyone seen Pineapple Express?
My favorite movies are: Airplane!, Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House and Philadelphia Story.
I like some sci-fi, too...like Star Trek (next gen.), Red Dwarf (oh smeg!), and Dr. Who.
I saw some of Disturbia and it seemed really predictable. Guess it's for the teen set.
Oh, and I love mocumentaries like Spinal Tap, Trailer Park Boys and Best in Show.
So, what do you like to watch?
